Argyris Nipyrakis is an adjunct professor of science education as well as a postdoctoral researcher of science education at the Department of Education of the University of Crete. His research is oriented to STEAM/STEM Education, pre-service/in-service teacher education, drama-based pedagogies in science, and Microcomputer-Based Laboratories. He has also worked as a Physics tutor at the K-12 level for 10 years and a teaching assistant at the university level for 7 years. He has worked as a researcher in EU projects such as IDENTITIES, STEM Digitalis, STEM labs, FEDORAs academy. He has also worked as a postdoctoral scholar in the Arts-Science lab of the University of Chicago.
